April 2024 was all about celebrating young talent and good vibes during Youth Week, and we kicked it off in style with Beats on the Bank: Live & Loud on Friday, 12 April.

This high-energy event gave 12-24-year-olds a chance to shine, with emerging artists bringing their all to the stage. From the first beat to the final encore, it was all about supporting one another, sharing good energy, and celebrating creativity. 🫶

And we didn’t stop there! Saturday, 13 April, brought us YAF24, an annual celebration of the arts scene in our region. The day was packed with workshops, performances, and a chance for everyone to connect, create, and be inspired. From learning new skills to experiencing the magic of live performances, the event left everyone buzzing with excitement. This wrapped up a full week of lead-in sessions that had run from Friday 5th April through to Wednesday 10th, presenting the youth of the MidCoast with a range of opportunities to explore the world of arts & entertainment.

A massive thank-you goes to the community leaders and industry professionals who showed up to share their time, wisdom, and passion. You made it a weekend to remember! 💚
