Friday, 8 December 2023, marked the debut of Beats on the Bank, and what a way to kick things off! 🎶 Our first-ever festival brought young local artists and some special guests together for an unforgettable night of live music, good vibes, and community spirit.

The event was all about celebrating the amazing talent in our region while giving 12-24-year-olds a fun (and safe) space to hang out with their mates. From the explosive energy of Angry Cantaloupe to the soulful tunes of Daisy Avenue and the crowd favourites Jack the Bredd Guy and Lizzy’s Angels, the line-up had something for everyone.

But it wasn’t just about the music. Attendees got the chance to take part in skill-specific workshops and even join the festival crew, gaining hands-on experience with local industry pros. It was all about building connections, having fun, and showing what’s possible when talent meets opportunity.
